Our questions, model answers and modules are written and reviewed by microbiologists, referenced to current UK guidance, and updated when that guidance changes.
Is FRCPath Prep part of the Royal College of Pathologists?+
No. FRCPath Prep is an independent preparation platform. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Royal College of Pathologists. For exam dates, fees, centres and regulations, always use the RCPath website.
Can I try it before I join?+
Yes. Both free sample papers are open to everyone with no sign-up: 29 Part 1 MCQs, and 10 Part 2 SAQ, OSPE and case questions with mark schemes.
When should I start preparing?+
Candidates who start 24 weeks or more before their exam have time to work through the Q-banks, modules and mocks properly. Exam dates vary, so check the RCPath calendar and plan back from your sitting.
